In brief
Dr Gobinder Singh graduated in medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1986 and trained in Ireland and the United Kingdom until 1994, obtaining the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of both Edinburgh and Glasgow in 1991. He returned to Malaysia as a Lecturer and Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia from 1994 to 1999, and has been in private practice at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur since 1999, some 27 years.
He served as President of the Malaysian Orthopaedic Association for 2013 to 2014, having sat on its Council from 2010 to 2015. He has published in peer-reviewed journals, written teaching modules for the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Masters in Family Medicine, and provides medico-legal expert opinion.
His practice covers the knee, hip and shoulder. This website concentrates on the knee, which is the largest part of it, but a consultation is not limited to that.
